Innovation, research and constant learning at Hadapt
I have the pleasure to make a great announcement from the Hadapt team: they are looking for Software development stars interesting to build the next generation database on top of the Hadoop platform. This information was posted in the Linkedin’s Hadoop Users group by Greg Clark, so if you are interested on this, you can contact him directly.
If you don’t know who is behind the Hadapt’s team, I can refresh your memory. If you are following the Big Data trend before 2009 (like me), you should have listened about HadoopDB, the hybrid platform built on top of Hadoop and PostgreSQL to create a highly available platform for Big Data analytics. This research was presented in the Very Large Datatase Scale Conference 2009(VLDB 2009) with the name: “HadoopDB: An Architectural Hybrid of MapReduce and DBMS Technologies for Analytical Workloads”, with a combination of the Yale Database Research Group and the Computer Science Department of the Brown University. The leader of the Yale Database Research Group is the CS professorDaniel J. Abadi, PhD, and he is one of the founders of Hadapt; so if you want to work with several of the brilliant minds in the Big Data space, I let you the link here to the Careers’s section at Hadapt and look for the position of Principal Developer. All the positions are located in Cambridge, MA.
So, don’t wait more and take the opportunity to drive innovation, constant learning and hard work at Hadapt.
